It’s been reported by Chris Broussard of ESPN that the Toronto Raptors are offering Steve Nash a three-year $36m dollar contract to play in the red, black and white.

Speculation has been rife regarding Nash’s next move with at least half a dozen teams mentioned in recent days. Nash is an unrestricted free agent and it is believed that his current team the Phoenix Suns will not be offering his a new deal.
The sad thing is, the Raptors are going to continue to be bad for a while and there’s really no chance of him capturing a championship ring if he signs with Toronto.
Nash was spotted recently in New York skateboarding and generally having a relaxing time. There’s been talk of him potentially joining the Knicks, while the Miami Heat are also predicted to make M-V-Steve an offer.
Personally, I’d like to see him in New York but it seems the Raptors are swinging for the fences with this one, and will do anything to bring Steve home to Canada.
