The Golden State Warriors will debut a new (unprecedented) look

I know it’s early but you’ve got to love seeing this highlight package of Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose in action yesterday at the United Center. The former MVP looks much stronger than last time we saw him on court and doesn’t appear to be holding back at all, as this video shows.
Rose has suggested recently that he is even more explosive than before, which is a terrifying prospect for any NBA perimeter defender. While I wouldn’t place any 2013 Detroit Pistons in the “premium perimeter defender” category, some of the moves displayed by Rose would have even the best of them struggling to stay in front of him.
Rose has certainly walked a criticised road when it comes to his recovery from a torn ACL, with fans and media alike questioning his recovery schedule. Finishing with 22 points, two assists, two rebounds and a block in his first home game since April 28 last year, Derrick is showing everyone who doubted him that he is back… with a vengeance.
The most notable stat from this game however is his 9/10 from the free throw line, dismissing any fears that he may want to play “bruise-free” basketball.
Bring on the regular season.
