Rumor and gossip run riot during the NBA off-season with
There’s no denying things were weird on Draft Night this year when consensus Number 1 pick Nerlens Noel slipped to New Orleans and their 6th pick. With Noel coming of a gruesome knee injury a few franchises were likely scared away but not the Philadelphia 76ers, who promptly traded All-Star Jrue Holiday for the young seven-footer.
As the 2013/14 season approaches, Noel is not sure when he will take the court for Philadelphia. What he does know is that he’s doing everything he can to make it sooner, rather than later.
“I’m doing six hours of rehab a day,” Noel said, “(and) I’m making a lot of progress.”
The Sixers have made it quite clear that they will not be rushing Noel’s recovery, suggesting that he probably won’t see the court for their team until 2014.

Needless to say, if/when Noel returns to this type of form and adds some bulk to that body, he is going to be a problem for opposing big men league-wide.
Here’s hoping the rehab and the hard work pays off for the Sixers, as their last seven-footer with a knee issue was a complete catastrophe.
