The city had waited a long time but Oakland finally got to let loose again as the NBA Finals came back for the first time in 40 years. Newly named MVP Steph Curry was home to lead his chargers against the bruised but unbroken Cleveland Cavaliers with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.

The Warriors eventually took a 1-0 series lead but not without some serious fight from the Cleveland Cavaliers. Without Kyrie Irving they may again be lowered to underdog status but they’re still a team to be feared. Big game coming in Game 2.
