NBA All-Star Reserves Announced

The 2013 NBA All-Star Game reserves have been selected and there are a few surprises.

In the East, the selection of Luol Deng to his second All-Star Game has been met with some contention. Also, the omission of Brooklyn Nets Center Brook Lopez has caused quite a stir, with some suggesting Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh’s place could have been filled by Lopez.

In the West it seems the overwhelming opinion of the people is that Golden State’s Stephen Curry was robbed. Questions have certainly been asked with most coming to the conclusion that Dwight Howard’s “fan vote” selection threw the entire process out of sync. Another contentious decision among the social media community is the Zach Randolph selection. A lot of people feel that Marc Gasol is the more worthy choice.
