Denver Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried (or the “Manimal” to those familiar with his playing style) put the perfect punctuation mark on his team’s 119-108 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night.
After setting a high screen for teammate Andre Miller, Faried slipped the screen and went straight to the front of the rim, catching a lob pass from Andre Iguodala and slamming home a nasty dunk on (the already seemingly defeated) Dwight Howard.
The crowd went nuts, most of the bloggers in Hoop Diary’s network frantically tweeted words of amazement and Denver not-so-subtlely took the season series against the Lakers.
The Manimal, doing Manimal things.
