Lonzo Ball Arrives With Near Triple-Double In His Second Game

As arguably the most hyped NBA rookie of the last 10 years, Lonzo Ball had a rather rough night in his first pro game, losing to the cross town rival LA Clippers and seemingly struggling with the physical play of Clippers gritty defender Patrick Beverley.

The (almost) 20 year old bounced back in his second game and in a big way against the Phoenix Suns.

Ball narrowly missed out on a triple double, falling just one assist short but put together a glimpse of the player all Lakers fans are looking forward to seeing.

24 hours is a long time in the NBA and the bros over at Basketball Forever didn’t hesitate in backing Ball after his bounce back performance…

I personally enjoyed Beverley roughing up the rookie in his first game but I must say that I enjoyed the response even better.

This is gonna be a fun ride watching this kid.
