Jordan Files #6 – MJ Drops 42 on the Spurs

The Jordan Files continue with a nice little upload from Hoopsencyclopedia showing some highlights (and lowlights) of 1993 Michael Jordan taking it to the San Antonio Spurs. It’s not all smooth sailing for the current GOAT but like they say, the cream eventually rises to the top… most of the time.

Some key moments to look out for include:

  • The fact Mike doesn’t hit every shot he takes.
  • Jordan’s block on Dale Ellis is epic.
  • Horace Grant’s power slam, with the foul, is unlike how I remember him.
  • Defenders showing genuine fear of Jordan’s jab step.
  • Having 1993 Scottie Pippen on your team is REALLY helpful.
  • Michael Jordan missed late game free throws too.

And how awful is that Alamodome court? Urgh… glad they fixed that situation.
