We’ve all seen enough alley-oops from the Los Angeles Clippers
When you talk about bruising NBA confrontations and players going toe-to-toe, Rajon Rondo of the Boston Celtics isn’t generally one’s first thought. Although Rondo has considered himself somewhat of a tough guy lately, he doesn’t generally cut an imposing figure of fear on the court.
Perhaps Rondo’s recent behaviour has sent a message to others around the league however, as we found out via the Milwaukee Bucks point guard Brandon Jennings last week.
As it turns out, Jennings thought that both he Rondo might just come to blows in their game last week in Boston after some words were exchanged early.
“It was the first quarter… I thought at one point we were going to start fighting, but nobody wants to give up that money.” said Jennings.
The Milwaukee Bucks prevailed in overtime with Jennings contributing 12 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists, while Rondo finished with six points, 11 assists, five rebounds and four steals.
Who do you suppose would win this fight… if it ever happened?
