To say it’s been a tough year so far for the Brooklyn Nets would be an understatement. Some of the tension was relieved on Thursday night however as shooting guard Joe Johnson hit the improbable game-winner to steal a win over league-leading Oklahoma City.
Needless to say the entire Nets team celebrated like they’d won the championship. Johnson would be happy earning some of that juicy contract cash too, considering he’s now gone four-straight games without scoring in double figures, including 3/10 from the field before the game-winner.
Will this impressive road victory spark something in the dysfunctional Nets?
