Curry Helps Warriors Avoid Boston Massacre (46-11)

The Warriors had to produce an NBA season-high 26-point comeback to take out the 23-33 Boston Celtics at TD Garden on Monday. The Dubs looked sluggish from the beginning of this one and pretty much took until the fourth quarter to put the hammer down, eventually winning 108-101.

For all the bad stuff I could discuss like spacing, defense, rebounding etc. I think it’s best we take Steve Kerr’s point of view and simply celebrate the fight.

“This was a fun challenge for us. If we had lost, it wouldn’t have been the end of the world … (but) I was happy that we showed good poise” – Steve Kerr

If Steve’s thinking this way, I’m happy to do so too.

As for highlights, check out Steph Curry’s handiwork via the video below from the ever-reliable @DawkinsMTA.

It’s always fun to watch Curry in full flight offensively and today, despite the team’s struggles, he had some help. Complimenting Curry’s 37 points, Klay Thompson (20), Harrison Barnes (17) and Draymond Green (14) all helped keep the scoreboard ticking over. The defense finally clicked into gear in the second half, helping the Warriors secure yet another victory.

Next up for the Warriors is the Brooklyn Nets tomorrow at Barclays Center. Here’s hoping for a faster start in that one.
